FIIC is a democratic international federation composed of national federations.
The "Annual General Assembly" (AGA) is the highest governing body of the federation. It consist of representatives from each of the member organization, each with one vote.
A bord of directors, elected by the AGA for a two year mandate, is the second highest governing body. It is responsible for the continuous work of the federation. The board consist of seven members whereof one president, one secretary and one treasurer.
To aid the board of directors in their work, a set of committees may be created with the task to look into specific tasks on behalf of the board of directors. One example of such a committee is the "Rules' Review Committee" with the task to look into the continuous development of the intercrosse rulebook.
