Invitation - FIIC Intercrosse World Games 2010

The Fédération Internationale d’Inter-Crosse (FIIC) together with the Intercrosse Verband Deutschland hereby invites you as a member of the FIIC to take part in the 22nd edition of the FIIC Intercrosse World Games.
 
The organizing committee has a solid experience in organizing international events, having hosted the 2007 World Games as well as several other international tournaments.

About the World Games

Where and when?

The World Games will be held in Ratingen, Germany, August 2nd to 7th, 2010.
 
Ratingen is located about 15 kilometers north of Düsseldorf, in the northwestern part of Germany, and just a few kilometers away from Düsseldorf international airport.
 
Games will be played in the gym Gothaer Straße (same gym as in 2007).
 
The accomodation will be at the Holiday Inn****  (indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, air conditioner) is at 2 minutes walking distance from the gym.
 
Camping area is located just next to the gym.

Who can attend?

The FIIC Intercrosse World Games is open for any player, male and female, aged 17 or older. 
 
Registrations are only accepted from official FIIC members or specially invited nations.

Registration

Registration is to be done in two steps:

1. Registration to the FIIC (deadline: March 15th, 2010):
   
   Send your registration by e-mail to the FIIC secretary at: 
   secretary(at)inter-crosse.com. 
    
   The registration shall include the following information: 
   
   1. Nation.
   2. Name, e-mail and phone number of the delegation‘s contact person.
2. Registration to the organisers (deadline: March 15th, 2010):
    
   Send your registation by e-mail to the organisers at: wg2010(at)intercrosse.de
    
   The registration shall include the following information:
• Nation.
• Name of delegation’s participants.
• Age of participants.
• Gender of participants.
• Playing position of participants (goalkeeper / field player).
• Personal preferences and constraints (vegetarian food, allergies etc.)
• Name, e-mail and phone number of the delegation‘s contact person.
• Confirmation of the deposit payment.

Registration after March 15th is possible, but depends on the capacity.

Important: Registration is not considered valid until the registration has been received and the funds of the deposit payment have been transfered. 

Costs

All costs involved with the tournament are to be paid by the participants.
The following prices apply:

Participation fees depends on the accommodation option selected, as specified in the table above. 

Participation fees include:

• Accommodation (5 nights).
• Opening and closing ceremonies.
• Meals.
• Game shirt (to keep, as a souvenir from the World Games).
• General expenses.
• Social activities.
• Program and maps.
• Medals.
• Referees t-shirt.

These conditions apply only is there is a minimium of 80 registered participants.

It is the responsibility of the participants to be properly covered by travel and medical insurance.
